The immersive 3D surround sound of Dolby Atmos® or DTS:X can be yours, or you can enjoy similar effects from Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X, even without height or surround speakers. Featuring Ultra HD, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision™ pass through with HDCP 2.2 support, the VSX-934 also delivers vivid images to match the sound. And speaking of audio, you can stream music from a variety of sources via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, DTS Play-Fi, your SONOS system and Apple AirPlay 2. If that's not enough, the VSX-934 includes a band mode 2 powered with a dedicated digital audio converter (DAC) for dual listening spaces, personal presets and 2 HDMI outputs*.

Automatic room adjustment
Pioneer's MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System) adjusts the sound according to the listening room and speakers and creates clearer sound by suppressing standing waves that appear between walls or the ceiling and floor. Up to nine-place measurement can be stored for a wide listening area. Auto Phase Control Plus performs a real-time analysis of the phase difference and automatically compensates for the gap between the LFE and the main signals, delivering powerful bass and clear high-frequency sound.
HDMI® 2.1 with 8K
The latest update to the HDMI specification, HDMI 2.1 supports a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K60 and 4K120, as well as Dynamic HDR formats. 8K offers a highly immersive viewing experience with 2x the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K and 4x more pixels. Combined with a 60Hz refresh rate allowing for smooth and sharp content with high-speed action, HDMI 2.1 with 8K ensures your system is ready for the sharpest and clearest picture available now and down the road.
Sound that covers everything
Play object-oriented audio with DTS:X and the smooth, curved or realistic 3D aerial movements of Dolby Atmos. And if you don't have surround or height speakers, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS:X Virtual will create virtual height effects from traditional speaker layouts to simulate ignition speakers.
Bi-directional Bluetooth®
The VSX-935 can send and receive audio via Bluetooth wireless technology. This feature means your gaming headset will easily connect to audio from the AVR (using SBC, aptX™️ or aptX HD codecs, including 24-bit audio via aptX HD).
And you can stream from devices like a cell phone to the AVR (using SBC or AAC codecs) if you want to keep listening to your podcast or new releases from your favorite artists on your home theater system.
The enhanced data transfer capabilities of the latest generation of Bluetooth ensure clear and reliable audio playback so you can hear your favorite games, podcasts and songs exactly as the recording engineer intended.

Music Streaming
Music streaming is simple with the VSX-935. Access to many streaming services including Spotify®, Amazon Music, Pandora®, TIDAL, Deezer and TuneIn is built-in. Additionally, this AVR is compatible with Works with Sonos, AirPlay 2 and DTS Play-Fi®. You can also use voice commands to control supported music services in multiple rooms with Alexa or Chromecast built-in™.
